Terms of Use

Threadship provides an AI agent for import and export teams. Connected to a Microsoft 365 account and folders your organization chooses, it reads shipment email and documents, files them, keeps shipment records and connected spreadsheets up to date, drafts emails for people to send, and answers your team.

Threadship is not a customs broker, freight forwarder, legal advisor or compliance authority, and doesn't replace their advice.

Threadship is for businesses. People sign in with an account from their organization, such as a Microsoft or Google account. You must be authorized to use Threadship on your organization's behalf.

Your organization is responsible for who it invites, for their activity in Threadship, and for removing people who should no longer have access.

When an admin connects a Microsoft 365 account, folders, partners or spreadsheets, your organization authorizes the agent to read that mail and those files and to take the actions described on our Security page: linking email and documents to shipments, filing documents into the chosen folders, updating shipment records, connected spreadsheet rows and the team memory, and drafting emails.

You confirm you have the authority to grant that access, including any approval required by your Microsoft 365 administrator. You can narrow or withdraw it at any time.

The agent can make mistakes. Its extracted values, filings, drafts and answers may be incomplete or wrong for a particular shipment, customer, jurisdiction or contract.

Threadship never sends email: a person reviews and sends every draft. You are responsible for reviewing the agent's work before relying on it, and for your operational, commercial, regulatory and customer-facing decisions.

You agree not to misuse Threadship. In particular:

• Don't connect mail or files you aren't authorized to share with Threadship.
• Don't upload or send unlawful, malicious or infringing content.
• Don't try to bypass security controls, access another organization's data, or disrupt the service.
• Don't rely on the agent for decisions where human review is legally or operationally required.

Your organization owns its data: email, documents, shipment records, messages and other content in Threadship or reached through it. You grant Threadship permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure, maintain and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use it to train AI models.

Threadship may offer plans or features at no cost, and may introduce or change pricing. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before a pricing change takes effect for your organization. Paid plans, if any, are governed by the order or agreement for them.

Threadship is provided on a best-effort basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Features, limits and integrations may change as the product evolves.

We may suspend access when necessary to protect the service or other users, prevent misuse, comply with law, or address security risks. Where practical, we'll tell you first.

You can stop using Threadship at any time and withdraw the agent's access as described on our Security page. We may end access if you breach these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if continuing isn't commercially or legally practical.

After your organization stops using Threadship, an admin can ask at support@threadship.ai for its data to be deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy. Documents the agent filed stay in your own Microsoft 365.

Each party may receive non-public business, technical or operational information from the other. Each party will use reasonable care to protect it and use it only for purposes related to the service.

Threadship and its software, design and branding remain the property of Threadship, Inc. or its licensors. These terms don't transfer ownership of Threadship technology to you, or of your data to Threadship.

To the extent permitted by law, Threadship is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Threadship will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, shipment delays, demurrage or detention, compliance penalties or business interruption arising from use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these terms as Threadship evolves and will show the new date at the top. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms. Questions: Threadship, Inc., support@threadship.ai.
